Culture Analytics has been partnering with New Zealand and Australian organisations since 2017 to help leaders understand and prioritise the most important actions for creating engaging places to work.

Approach

We take an insights-based approach with our work to support your decision making by understanding how aligned your people practices are with your organisations goals. We underline this with the latest business and social psychology, practical experience and learning from other organisations.

Over the last 25 years, our team have worked with over 350 New Zealand organisations of all sizes and sectors, and advised hundreds of lead teams. This means at Culture Analytics, we have a unique, pragmatic understanding of what works and what doesn’t work in the real world - in your world - not just what sounds good on paper.

We can work with you at different scales, identifying small incremental changes that can make an immediate difference, coaching your leadership teams for longer term sustainable impact, or working in a consulting partnership with you for long term strategies to sustainably transform your culture over time.

Our core areas of expertise and insight are:

  • Transformation and change
  • Employee experience, engagement and retention
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Culture and values
  • People analytics
  • Leadership

Culture Analytics – Managing Director and Principal Consultant
I am an analyst, a storyteller, a strategic advisor and a business leader – however at the heart of everything I do I am an environmentalist and take into consideration the impact on our planet of all work I undertake, and advice I give.

Most of my projects involve bringing together quantitative and qualitative employee survey data to derive insights on Employee Experience, Engagement, Retention and Diversity & Inclusion, to answer the question: “How do we create an organisation that people want to be a part of?”

I bring to my projects a rare mix of analytic skill, business psychology and strategic thinking to help my clients really understand what is going on with their people and culture, and how they can make real change happen.
I have over 20 years experience working in and consulting to New Zealand and Australian organisations, have advised well over 80 Senior Leadership Teams – many in multi-year commitments – and have led highly successful teams of consultants to understand and advise on hundreds more.

I work with organisations in all industries, with a focus on community services, not-for-profits, government, animal welfare, and scientific research.

Culture and Experience Management Lead
Think of me as your partner, coach, and support person.

I trained as an organisational psychologist (and psychometrist) and have worked with spectacular organisations of all sizes and shapes, across multiple countries and cultural backgrounds. I love integrating multiple disciplines with creativity (including my knowledge in neuroscience), which I will bring into our sessions.

My work history involves great projects, from large scale strategic change such as organisational design and culture transformation (see IRD’s multi-year transformation project), to working with many small and medium organisations (and non-profits) across all aspects of their employee lifecycle. I can help you with your change efforts, culture, D&I, employee experience, well-being, leadership and workforce analytics. I have a blend of strategic, analytical and personable skills that help me quickly identify and connect opportunities and people.

Although I take a whole-person and whole-system approach in my work, I am pragmatic in the way we create change over time, and I will support you every step of the way.
